Ghana Golf Association Begins Stakeholder Engagement for 2026 Calendar Planning

The Ghana Golf Association (GGA) has commenced a series of stakeholder engagement sessions with club captains, administrators, and technical leads as part of preparations for the 2026 golf calendar. The discussions aim to gather input on tournament scheduling, junior development priorities, and facility readiness across the country.

According to the GGA Secretariat, the engagement process is designed to ensure that the upcoming season reflects the needs of clubs while aligning with the Association’s long‑term development strategy. Topics under review include national ranking events, coaching programs, and opportunities for regional collaboration.

Several clubs have already participated in the initial consultations, with more sessions scheduled in the coming weeks. The GGA emphasized that the feedback gathered will help shape a more inclusive and well‑structured calendar for golfers at all levels.

A finalized version of the 2026 calendar will be released after the consultation phase is completed.
