Club Overview & Landscape

Established in 2017 by Pius Ayeh Appiah, the esteemed former captain of the Damang Golf Club, the Captain One Golf Society (C1GS) was born out of a desire to break down the traditional socio-economic barriers surrounding golf. Operatings as a powerful competitive fraternity and charity organization, the society actively works to debunk the misconception that golf is exclusively for the wealthy elite. By leveraging a leveling Handicap System, its tournaments offer an equal playing field where professionals and amateurs compete side-by-side. Beyond the greens, the society uses its platform to run massive charity operations, adopting orphanages and vulnerable homes to provide children with life-changing athletic opportunities.
