The Ghana Golf Association (GGA) has reaffirmed its commitment to expanding and modernizing golf across the country as part of its 2026 development agenda. In a statement released this week, the Association highlighted ongoing collaborations with member clubs, junior golf programs, and regional coordinators aimed at improving access, training, and competitive opportunities for golfers nationwide.
According to the GGA Secretariat, several initiatives are currently underway, including upgrades to selected club facilities, enhanced coaching support for junior golfers, and preparations for upcoming national tournaments. The Association emphasized that these efforts are part of a broader strategy to elevate Ghana’s presence in regional and international golf.
GGA leadership also noted that engagement with clubs continues to grow, with increased participation in monthly competitions and renewed interest from young golfers entering the sport. The Association expressed optimism about the future of golf in Ghana, citing strong support from clubs, partners, and the golfing community.
Further updates on tournaments, development programs, and club activities will be shared in the coming weeks as the GGA continues its mission to promote excellence and expand the sport across the nation.
